With only4500 being available I would think you will be very lucky to find one at a discount, but good luck anyway!

Nice job there Cluny, a good looking model.

I was going to do an update on my Typhoon, unfortunately had a bit of a family crisis to sort out and I was in danger of doing what I did with the Nimrod i.e. glue the fuselage halves together without the weight in the nose. I have found the head magnifier with lights I just received is brilliant it certainly makes gluing small bits together easier.

Added a couple of shots, the bits are only taped together for now:

Mick, the Typhoon is coming along nicely, but thanks for pointing out "the bits are only taped together for now" I thought the plastic clamps were a new attachment!

The Landrover etc will that be part of a diorama or are you going to do something along those lines yourself.

I might buy some of the ground equipment that is available, like the steps, Power Set and put them on a base with aircraft pan markings on, then cover it so wife can't dust it

Funnily enough the owner of the Landrover has already suggested a diorama type base and that should hopefully mean it might stay intact on the shelf, well at least until the 6' 3" tall dusting fairy arrives on the scene!

I have been getting on a bit with the Typhoon, the main bits are together and I am now going to fill in the bits that don't fit quite right and then spray the top coat before finishing the cockpit and all the other extras.

I tried to get a decent shot of the metalwork in the jet pipe as well but it has not gone as expected.
