I'm actually pretty plased with it, not looking forward to doing the sides though.

Especially on canopies and blisters / windows

I use micro masking tape on models as the large stuff you're using is intended for bigger jobs on cars n'stuff.
Fine masking - it sticks better and doesn't allow paint 'creep' under the edges![]()
Or - I use liquid masking - Liquid mask
With the central fuselage joins on plastic kits I always use Filler - apply with wooden cocktail sticks with a rolling action - gives a better finish and looks less like a kit when finished
Have you tried spraying large surfaces with a badger airbrush ?? Cheap one only £20 but you can spend loads more - better finish overall though.
Do you use liquid poly cement - I always brush it on - don't trust tubes - even the thin ones - too much too quickly![]()

Just some thoughts
I'll stick to my old brushes
I quite like the finish on it as it is
.
Yep, definitely not just for boys
Although tell that to the airfix book I bought
highly offensive title

I did have a yorkie bar at East Kirkby once, and left half of it
