Still waiting for an update from BBMF twitter - I would have thought the weather would be fit today, *sigh*
), I wouldn't have said it was enough to stop the Dak, Spitfire and Hurricane got off and landed ok.
, till an oil pressure problem meant he had to call it a day

I can't make it tomorrow either

I see tomorrow is cloudy but the wind not as strong either here or Manchester

I see a plan forming

During the Winter of 2010-2011 the BBMF`s Dak` underwent a major maintenance programme and now appears in a new colour scheme as C-47 (FZ692) of 233 Squadron, RAF, which was nicknamed "Kwicherbichen".
C-47 Mk III s/n FZ682 was built by Douglas Aircraft in 1943. Delivered to RAF February 1944. Served with 233 Sqd at RAF Blakehill Farm until September 1944. Painted olive drab and D-Day stripes added for the invasion, the stripes covering its original ST-UK code. Because of this its identification coded of "UK" was added to the nose. ""Kwicherbichen" was painted under the nose, port side, and ops symbols painted behind the cockpit. FZ692 survived the war and still flys with Environment Canada, registed C-GRSB".

Wouldn't have been able to go again if she'd had to cancel
