Weather forecast on Countryfile looks a bit chilly with a chance of driving snow.

Xplumberlives wrote:Here are the BASICS;
Parking for the flypast days: RAF Cottesmore's community relations office is reportedly concerned about people descending en masse to view the flypast at Cottesmore and want people to view it from the other airfields instead. Parking restrictions and a one way system on Hooby Lane will supposedly be in force. Parking will be available for £1 per car at the Rutland Caravan and Camping Site, which is around 1 mile (15 minutes walk) from point A on the map below; the farmer at the 22 end has also said his yard will be available for some parking for £2 per car (accessible via New Road). This is a lot closer to the runway end than the caravan site. Both parking locations are marked with a blue and white P on the map below.
Go for Brian Elsens yard as the favourite but don't be late, it will fill up fast!![]()

It's the Town that RAF Cottesmore has the freedom of and Stamford is the Town that RAF Wittering has the freedom of.
