Haha =)) that reminds - this young guy last year, passed his wand over my front & it beeped -

He said
'Whats in your pocket'

'I haven't got a pocket'

Well there's something metal there'

'Yes that'll be the underwire in my bra'

He went very red & didn't check anywhere else!!!!!

So if you claim to be wearing a bre Nick you'll be OK!!!! :)) :)) :))

He missed a trick there ... oldest trick in the book young man - us older guys would've known they're not all underwired - he should've asked to see ...... could've been ANYTHING in there :ymdevil: :ymdevil:

I had my camping knife with me at RIAT and got held under the terrorism act :D

They guy asked me why I brought with me to an airshow a 6 inch Bowie Knife. I told him it wasn't a Bowie Knife it was a camping knife and a multitool. He then spent nearly 20 minutes taking it apart and looking at all the cool stuff inside the knife (fishing wire, matches, mini hammer, cutting blade, fish descaler) and finally asked me where I got it coz his Dad would love one. He was a cool guy despite looking like a Bulldog chewing a wasp. They never took the knife off me though despite it having a 6" fookn sharp serrated blade, which I found rather odd! :-o

Well I think it's ridiculous having a swarm of menacing security guards that look like riot police and they let you go through with a bloody great knife! I even said to the guy that I was more than happy to leave it with them and collect it on the way out, to which he replied "we don't really have anywhere safe to keep it" #-O
