Andy....HEY ANDY ...... I've just thought up a wizard wheeze to get me to see the ladies :D :D

On June 19th next (a Saturday) my daughter has sourced some tickets (from BMW) for herself and my wife to go to Royal Ascot Ladies day ...... stick with me here ..... that means my wife has got to get to Hampshire so she can then get spruced up and travel with the daughter to the event on a special coach.

As number one chauffeur, I am nominated for transport from Cornwall to Fleet .... thus ergo I am in Fleet very early that Saturday and at a loose end for the day .... so I said I would take the opportunity to travel the 2 hours from there up the M3/M25/M1 to Brunty :D

So daughter - bless her - says she can borrow a brand new BMW Z4 for the weekend - and as all the cars are fully comp any driver I can add a sporty drive to my day.

AND - my best mate who lives in Kidderminster says he'll come over and join me at Brunty.

So what a day to look forward to - all I have to do now is pray :YMPRAY: that someone is available to let me and my mate meet the girls that day :p :D Can you look that far ahead ;) :D

Spitfire,

Thats sounds like a mighty fine plan you have there my friend ;)

On Saturday the 19th we the LPG are holding our groups 22nd anniversary get together, we will be at Brunty all day, the 'full 12' members, chewing the 'cud' as it were, if we have a fixed jet by then we might just run one, ummmmm not promising owt there though, so dont yet ones hopes up :)

By all means you can wander round, talk Lightnings, Q sheds and have a good look round the rest of the collection at Brunty if you so desire ;)

We will all (wifes as well) be heading off to a posh hotel that evening for a good 'old p*** **', as has been the habit for 22 years now ;)

So what Im getting round to is, yes you and your mate are more than welcome to pay us a visit on the 19th June ;) :)

Just let me know for sure about 1 week before, so I can tee up getting you though the gate, just need your full name and car reg, thats all ;)

If the runway is clear you might even get that BMW out on the track for a quick blast. ;)

As for the 10th April Visit, names I have so far are:

Cluny
Dougs
Xplumberlives +1
Thumper
Wedgy
RLN
Gaz + 2 ?
Checkflaps + 2 ?
Jigsaw + 3
Mags + 1 ?
Madnaddy + ?

......and to make a complete weekend of it, you could all bring your wives and your hangovers down to Wellesbourne on the Sunday for Wings and Wheels 2010. \:D/

It isn't too far to drive from Brunty, and I'm sure wives plus satnavs can find us while you sleep it off in the back. :)) :))

I don't normally have luck like that .... usually with me it would be 'oh what a shame that's the one day of the year we lock the gates and no one is allowed within 5 miles of the place' :D

Thanks mate, but I wont be in any fit state on the Sunday morning, the 'do' usually goes on well into the next day ;)

Spitfire, you are more than welcome to come along and enjoy, just dont make a mess ;)

Like I say, the chances of us having one fixed by then are slim (ish)

904 is the most likely
