Im sure theres a good reason, who would want to miss out on a look round 558!!

There must be a good reason. If my situation were different right now, I would be there like a shot.

Mackrick wrote:I am not making excuses for anyone but it was touch and go if today was going ahead. The extra trip we did this week (3 instead of 2) plus the late notice meant that emails went out to visitors later than the previous week.

We do ask that people are at the pickup point early so as not to delay each party. This has so far worked a treat. I must say a big thank you to Andy and his clipboard for being at the pickup point all day, checking peoples details off as they arrive. It has made my job so much easier knowing all I have to do is check the photo ID's and then do the driving.

Well 2 more Sundays to go till our first funding deadline. Fingers crossed if we make it then the trips will continue. If you want to visit then please email or make that phone call.

The effort you all put in is great rick, esp with the problems arranging the visits!

As Rick said, we had a very short amount of time to organise this week's tours (didn't find out until Wednesday evening that we had the go ahead) there was little time to breathe and I would normally send out the confirmation emails in advance of the deadline for when we have to submit the names to Control of Entry; that way if anyone pulls out, I can stand a chance of filling the places. Once submitted, however, we cannot make any substitutions.

I did have two apologies, one of which was due to unexpected work committments and one was a family matter.

Just a couple of quickies, photos sent to me by Andrew, our car park 'meeter and greeter', who visited the hangar today.

The list is the easy bit mate, If I thought for one minute I could get there I would have my name down.
Whilst i would love to be there but can't yet, I get an enourmous degree of satisfaction that others can.
They have you and your colleagues to thank for that ;)

I've just emailed Toni to see if I can take a group of Air Cadets down to see her (558 not Toni) during the Easter Hols...

Might as well combine a day of TDC & KW sitting with something useful!!! =)) =))
