Ahhh, an interesting read to start Thursday off....

Bit of misinterpretation of posts, (due to the fact there can be little intonation with the written word as opposed to the spoken word), bit of pedantry.

I love it here...............

And (yes I know it is improper to start a sentence with and) then D4th lobs a soother in from across the pond.........

Have a good day everyone.

P.S. Sincerely hope this bit of banter does not fall foul of any three line whipps and get deleted.

Dear All,

Due to the fantastic response to our offer for hangar tours at Lyneham, we have now filled all available seats for Sunday 7th February. However, we are happy to announce that further tours will now be made available for the following three Sundays in February.

If you have already submitted a request then you will be receiving an email shortly, detailing whether you have been successful in securing your place for our first tours. If you have been unsuccessful for Sunday the 7th, you will receive an email in the next few days offering you a place on one of the future Sunday tours.

Please ensure you come in sensible "non-slip" shoes.

Due to the uncertainty of the Project’s future, we cannot say if we will be able to continue the tours beyond the end of this month.

If we are able to secure the required funding then we anticipate making our tours a regular feature, thus enabling as many fans of XH558 as possible, the chance to get up close and personal with this fascinating and historic aircraft.

Thank you.

Is anybody in the East Anglia area planning to go?

I would happily chip in with Petrol costs.

Well he could fire it up, but currently being unable to drive would make things a little difficult!

I would love to be able to fire up the Quattro, Cortina or dammit ANY Car!!! ~x( ~x( ~x(

You only realise just how much you rely on your own transport when you're unable to drive!!!

And from my latest set of Hospital tests yesterday, it's going to be many more months before I'll be able to get back behind the wheel again.

It's both fingers and toes and makes the locals stand out from those of us who have moved in.

They also swim very fast!

Ugliest kids in the world, but they play a mean Banjo!!!

In all seriousness, not long after I moved a Hen Party came into a Pub I was in. The Bride-to-be is on her third marriage and she's never had to change her surname!!!

Then just before Christmas I was chatting to a Lesbian Couple that were going to have a Civil Partnership this year. When I asked how long they'd known each other one said, "all our lives, we're Cousins."
