Dr Plemings statement could be reduced somewhat.....

'We are STILL in the sh*t because we couldn't organise a **** in a brothel -
we have no more ideas - so all you people who we've bled dry give us more money NOW - oh and your friends and neighbours too ' ~x(

PhantomAviator..
Excuse me?, Who told you were deleted? certainly not me....as club membership sect..... I did not delete anyone who worked on the return to flight and was a club member, to the best of my knowledge all ex-staff members who were club members still are for instance Flip-Flop Man for one...... if you care to PM me with your name, address & membership number..... I will investigate the database to find what has gone wrong and also anyone else who can not access the VTS Forum please do the same...

Denis Parker
VTSC Membership Sect

If I remember correctly, almost 2 years ago to the day, when the Club forum became members only, the ex employees [mainly engineers] who were not club members were refused access.
After a large backlash on the forum due to inappropriate comments made by an ex-manager, I thought all ex-employees were given life long club memberships....I know who the ex-engineer was at the time who the comments were aimed at & I'm sure he'll remember.

That is what we were told.
Not entering in to an argument with Denis, (But Denis I did inform you several times not only at Bruntingthorpe when I visited but also in the newsagents at Blaby over a period of a year).
In the end like many others I gave up.

And no I was not that Engineer.

Well I'm glad one thing is different in the update....................The idea of a Viral Video to attract some interest (hopefully to be placed on YouTube) I'm interested to know what the record attempt will be? I did post the idea for a Viral Ad on the TVOC forum a week or two ago, so hopefully if it was my idea, I can say I did something without dipping my hand in my pocket :YMPRAY: .

p.s. Apologies for my absence, I've been busy learning how to fly (on FSX) ;) .

Like I keep saying please give me your details so I can check what has gone wrong.... when I am sitting at my computer not when I am out shopping or dealing with members of the public in the hangar ..... how can I sort this out if I do not have the information..... like I said what is your name address and membership NO....PM me if nessessary.

If I remember correctly, almost 2 years ago to the day, when the Club forum became members only, the ex employees [mainly engineers] who were not club members were refused access.

Access to the VTSC Forum was restricted to VTST Friends & club members only, this was the case for ALL
non-members/Friends

As to the assertion about all the ex-staff being given Honorary memberships, VTST managers have no authority over club affairs.. ..... that would have to go through the full Club Committee Meeting and I was never instructed to give any such memberships post First Flight..actually not all VTS Engineers were given Honorary status either.... again to change that would have to be a committee decision not mine...

I don't think anyone on here WANTS the business to fail, mostly we are sick and tired of watching the management dig themselves into un-necessary holes and then beg to be got out of them (or we'll sack the troops, threat, threat).
As for pointing fingers, if they ask for it, I for one will point.

Fresh from the presentation.
Although I already knew this ... but to once again see the passion of Taff and the team for 558 ......

..... breaks my heart :(

If only the 'management' could invoke such emotion X(

Is there any reason for the highlighting 'Seam' and 'Dont' or are you pointing out my bad spelling?

Also if you think the management are digging themself un-necessary holes, what would you do instead?
