But even with that info, that requirement was not just realised in December 09, it was known that it would be needed sometime in the future so why not drip feed tenders for the various MOD requirements. It still appears that no forward planning was done, it is all firefighting last minute pressure planning everytime, living on a knife edge and then at the last minute apply pressure to people to get things done in short order is not good for a business or for the employees health and sanity.

But no doubt someone will hopefully tell me that I have percieved the situation incorrectly and give the facts so we can all stop getting worried that we might not see 558 until later this year, if at all.

Aaargh I have done it again, must stop logging in, I am in danger of ending up in the doghouse for not being positive :D

Have a nice day peeps, regards Mick

Drawing on my memory banks here from over the last few years, I don't believe this mod will be as time consuming as you all think. Although the mod was never embodied they do know what is required. When I said the paperwork was never drawn up I meant the tech drawings. There will be sketches that only need converting, they don't need to design the mod from scratch.
In memory of a very dear friend - Mike Pearson

Very fond memories of Robbie Gilvary - DTs 1st Vulcan Captain who taught DT all he knew.

A small update from Robert Fleming.

Update due early next week
22 January 2010 -

Dear Supporters,

It was my intention to update you with the Appeal situation later today, but in light of finalising several options, it will be better for me to make an announcement very early next week.

Thank you for your continued support in the meantime.

Kind Regards,

Robert Pleming.

I hope it's not too inflammatory and I hope that certain people wont completely misunderstand it like they did with the last one.

As the statement says, we'll know early next week.

Perhaps things aren't 100% decided yet?

With due respect I won't hold my breath then.
This sort of statement has been used many times in the past and I still foresee it being used in the future.

Unless there is the sort of statement of 'We have found a major sponsor who is going to back us for the full year'
I anticipate a small apology for not updating peoples and nothing more than that.

We shall see, 'Early Next week' sometime around Wednesday Dinnertime then.

whilst ambiguous, i think that email is quite positive - if it were an obvious black and white situation (either VTS are completely 'sorted' or bankrupt!) we would already have heard

i sense an announcement of the grey-shaded middle ground! ;)

could we see VTS limp across the finish line, with certain expensive limbs axed?

They've already chopped one main leg off. :)) :))
Sooty

One Olympus 301 has twice the power of a complete F1 starting grid.
XM655 has four of them, all serviceable.

Looking at the cost breakdowns.
What happens if the £800,000 is not raised?
I take it it will mean that the projected Known revenue for Airshow Fees will not be realised. No Show No fee.
So what will happen to the other Known Revenues?
Never mind the Planned.

Looking at the pie charts for VTST Forecast.

There is one entry for Overheads, Admin + Management costs and a seperate entry for staff.
Are we to understand that management are seperate now from staff?
