"Or the Scrap Heap..."

I'm afraid that trying to whip-up hysteria
on this issue has been used several times
too often.........

AND trotting it out yet again now does
absolutely NOTHING to inspire confidence
in the present management.

A little straightforwardness and honesty
would go a long way to aiding the cause
at this point, and a little mea culpa
wouldn't hurt any, either!

Wishful thinking I think, Xpl.

I can't escape the feeling that the prats responsible for this mess will be the last to go, and on performance to date, they won't even know how to turn out the lights.

XM655 has four of them, all serviceable.

I've skimmed through a bit, but unless I've missed something, he hasn't actually mentioned anything about a coup.

What link posted by Mr Eames? There isn't one I can see. I just went over there and into the Vulcan thread anyway.

Like I said though, I can't see that he's said anything about a coup. In fact on closer look he's said 'Dave, I've not mentioned a coup, and I certainly not seen anything to make me think there would be one.'

Don't think he too impressed with SM though. :))

Dano1978 seems to have mentioned a half-arsed coup I notice, but I've only gone back a couple of pages.

No he hasn't, however his initial post about this forum gave the impression that there was some sort of coup like plot being brewed, hence Mr Dani's response. Not only that he chose to pick a single line from SM's post to quote without giving a link or any means to see the full context of the post or topic. Basically he has gave a very one sided and and askew version of this thread. why he chooses to do this is beyond me.

Now i am not a member of the Vulcan club and can be considerd neutral on the whole issue (ie i could'nt care less) and in my impartial opinion Mr Hurn is a plonker.

This seems to be the first post on the subject.
There are a number of the Vulcan Club members who actually want the project/business to go under.

Abrupt, but could be viewed as accurate tbh.

Their belief seems to be that they can keep things going until a new buyer is found, and according to some of them the club is withholding money for just an occasion.

Again, quite abrupt, but I don't actually read anything into that like a coup. There's been plenty of chat here about the club taking over if the trust folds recently.

A sad state of affairs
Sums up what he feels about it.

I think that some things that have been said here sometimes have been a little OTT, and I guess something like this happening is one price you pay with an open forum where some peoples views may cause offence.

Other than that though, I don't really see what the fuss is about. It doesn't seem like he's deliberately lying, just probably a little pissed off. But aren't you all? ;)

I'm used to it - I've been saying exactly the same thing for nearly three years now =))

I've never once changed my tune, have made many 'enemies', but have seen many eventually form similar opinions to mine

i DO try and be even-handed and fair, giving credit where it's due, but that all too often gets overlooked
