Nice photos all...Gaz you need to get a blade tool on that prop and get those blades re aligned....

All of em need doing! There is an allignment tool on site but nobody knows where it is. I reckon a certain group that have recently departed, have half inched it!

I had SO much to do yesterday, but, as I was the only one of the Guppy lads to turn up and everything required at least 2 people, the only thing I did was pick the gust locks up so I can repair them at home. I was going to ask one of the CWJ lads to help but they were crazy busy moving Tina into the hangar.

Hopefully, someone who can work the cherry picker will be there on Wednesday so I can get the rudder sorted.

Bloody Brunty weather!!

Well, that and the fact that we still have nobody to work the cherry picker!

I did some cleaning, I finally got round to sweeping the cargo hold and i gave the cockpit a wipe down where some water had leaked in. It's really starting to look good inside now, once I've got the dyson up there it'll look the business!
Clare (The wife, if you didn't know ) has said she'll re-upholster (Spelling????) the seats on the flight deck, so I'm on the scrounge for any hardwearing material (Canvas or corduroy type stuff).

Other than that, I helped the CWJ lads put the ground equipment into hibernation.

Cold one up there today! Had to defrost the prop blades before we could paint them, but, we got some of the white bits painted..

Dickon and I both thought that it looks good. Weather permitting, I'll start t'other side on Wednesday.

I've had an idea for an indoor workstation that, although it won't be permanent, will allow us to do some jobs out of the cold. There's a lot of room inside a Guppy and I intend to make the most of it

We also had an idea for a fundraising event (Well, it'll be a "Bits we need" raising event) but that is in the embryonic stage at the minute.

To busy yesterday to wander over to Brunty to come see .(Family business to attend to visiting A race team ).Just noticed in your Pics that one of the blades is facing the other way is it stuck like that.

Couldn't do a great deal today due to the snow but, I did get the battery back in situ. Also, we've had some, fairly severe, leakage throught he cockpit windows so I've hilighted where it's coming in and, when it dries up, I'll scrape the old sealant out and re-do it. I've put bags of the cat litter type stuff, where the water is landing so hopefully it will keep the damp away.

Other than that, I helped the CWJ lads move some stuff about in the main hangar.
