It would appear at the moment that All of the RAF and RN Harriers will return to the ORIGINAL Home of the Harrier!

I get confused, both Wittering and Cottesmore are referred to "home of the Harrier" so which one is it?

Really gutted as I failed to get up to Cottesmore for photos this year and will be mega pissed if the Harriers don't fly next year and I can't get to see them!! Bloody government, at least they're sending more Wokka Wokka's out there tho.

Will do next year XPL for sure, wanna spend a whole day up there when they switch back to day flying pattern.

Rumour has it that 20(R) Sqd are to return to airshows next year so may even be lucky enough to see some practise displays.

Probably just a dream knowing this country tho :(

God help us if we need to go into a different style conflict to that in Afghanistan - our forces are being turned into a one-trick pony :( X(

Hope they only mothball the withdrawn Harriers - they'll need them after the JSF is cancelled and our single aircraft carrier comes bobbing along. ;)

At this rate Britain's air defence will be via the various classic jet operators up and down the country.
