I've seen this before and am sure it was in a TV series / film but anyone know which one it was please ?

Rick it was Ray Hanna and I have forgotten the name of the programme, S.M. will know!

So what was this programme about then? I don't think I've ever heard of it.

made at a time when ITV made good TV programmes ;)
