Cranfield 2nd Nov

Postby Thumper » Mon Nov 02, 2009 5:44 pm

I have THE BEST boss in the world! Waiting for motorcycle courier jobs to come in so we had to stay fairly local to Milton Keynes, which is boring, so I dragged him to Cranfield to check out some action ;)

Here's the pics I took, hope you like em :D

Yes you can buy a taxi ride, probably costs a BOMB!! I have emailed them but not got a reply yet.

The next taxi event is 4th December I think, I missed the last one which was 3 weeks ago, 4th December is a twilight run with static re-heat, I'll be there takin pics and video, from the outside though as I am a skinflint and can't do the £30 just to get inside the fence [-x

Would much prefer to go see 320psi though so gonna save up petrol to get to 'thorpe next year.

Here's the Cranfield Lightnings webby

Sorry about the photos of dead things, such a shame to see them unloved :(

The Lightning really does need some proper storage not just a bit of tarp. It has a brand new flashy paint job thats already starting to deteriorate with weathering :(

Theres no way I am phoning Russell after hearing that! I won't be able to contain all the expletives I shall have ready!

Ooooookay, so £30 it is then and sneak into seat number 2 when no-ones looking, wear a low cut top and a wonderbra, jobs a goodun! :))

I wonder if they'll let me race my bike against it :D

I suspect that the ggogle maps image is about 2 years old at least judging by the fact that my old van is showing outside my old house in MK :D
May well pop along for the December run though as it's nice & local!
