Buccaneer XX885

Postby Mike » Sat Oct 03, 2009 11:45 pm

The last time I looked at "the Bucc will be back" web page it was last updated in 2006/2007. Any of the team like to put this ex 16sqn (bucc) erk in the picture. Be nice to see it fly with 558. Can only dream I suppose.

Last time this was raised I telephoned those concerned to be told XX885 is just waiting for a reason to be readied to fly again!

They are waiting for a sponsor to pay for the work and commision the aircraft for specific tasks.

So very much work in progress and on hold in the current economic climate. ;)

Unless you have the money they need, we will just have to wait! ;)
