WhoooHooooo!!!!!!!!!

Just been treated to my own personal flypast & wing wave from 558, straight over Winslow, flying west to East!!!!!!
Sitting in my office, with the camera on the desk, so shots to follow if they are any good!!
So far this year, 5 unintentional sightings, and 2 deliberate, plus 2 on the ground :D :D :D
Straight & level flight, then a rapid drop of the port wing (? to check map reading?) then carried on without course alteration, heading directly for Bletchley Park......maybe a flypast there perhaps, although very densly populated (If you know Bletchley you'll appreciate the use of 'Dense') so maybe not.
The evidence:

Horrible sky indeed, and no chance to change settings on the camera either.....I did have the big lens on but not zoomed out so taken at 90mm focal length. I would say she was about 200yds away from being directly overhead!

Funnily enough, about three or four weekends ago, the Lanc flew over following the exact same route, but no wing-wave from the BBMF. I may just stay in the office instead of going to airshows.....

An IL-76 (I'm just assuming that's what it is =)) =)) as I'd never heard of it before two weeks ago =)) ) went into Waddington at 1:45pm, it was only 2 hours late =)) =))

Here it is on approach. My house is about 5 miles from Waddington and about a mile and a half from the approach centre line which is why the photo's rubbish :D

Don't you have to be sliding down a hill on a 2CV bonnet or something?

Having lived nextdoor to Coningsby for 12 years and Shoreham for 8 years I couldn't possibly contribute to this thread as it would be 450 pages long ;)

I did however see a Puma or Lynx today, Eastbound, quite low with a geezer hangin' out the side door.
