interesting D4th thanks - not sure what they base their findings on but the figures make interesting reading
In memory of a very dear friend - Mike Pearson

Very fond memories of Robbie Gilvary - DTs 1st Vulcan Captain who taught DT all he knew.

yeah, very interesting - although, like Mayfly, i wonder what yardstick they have used to rank any of those mentioned

in terms of personnel numbers, we're clearly way down the list, but as far as technology..............:-?

if it were a measure of the training regime and pure professionalism, the RAF are usually classed as second to none - even by Murkin aviators! :p

This is what the guy indicates as his criteria:

The top 10 Air Forces in the World. Based on aircraft quality, munitions, size, training and experience.
Data taken from websites, magazines and books.

This is only my opinion, it's not written in stone.

Other Air Forces competing for next top spots: Spain, Italy, Greece, Sweden, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Taiwan, Turkey, Canada, Portugal, Brazil, Egypt

Sounds pretty seat-of-the-pants to me........

Did he really show American Phantoms from Holloman AFB in the German/Luftwaffe section?
