Have you informed the chief taxi driver that she needs to rise early?

Well what a brilliant day out, Brunty first thing (little update on the Q shed thread) then over the Cosby, I was blown away, what a brilliant day.
There was so much to see, so many interesting people to chat to, the flying display was one of the best Ive seen for years, the Hurricane stole the show for me, his taxy out though the gap in the hedge and then gunning the throttle, and only just made it off, and then the low fast pass to open though the gap in the tree line, wow, could have been stood on a French airfield in 1939, so many low passes, I just stood there with Cam on my shoulders mouth hanging open.
The Spit and P51 display was staggeringly fast, close and perfect.

The bomb drop routine that 558 was very nice ;)

Cameron stood with me and a few friends of mine we met on the bank with his AK47 lookalike while the ground battle was in full swing, the 8 (yes 8) 25 pounders all going off at once, the panzer 3 'gettin it' the two Shermans with their 50 'cals' blasting away, oh wonderfull stuff, god I was 9 years old again. :D

Then we wandered round till 7pm, talking to all the different groups, got in the trench with one lot of German para's.
Held a Tomson sub machine gun
We both stood chatting with the Artillery guys at their 'mess' and one asked 'do you want to have a look at the live 25 pounders' ?

Stupid question :D

Didnt take many snaps, I was enjoying watching all the 'stuff' going on

Lovely ;)

Stunning

One of my favorites, 'arf track'

Lovely Bren carrier

And then when most folks had gone we 'mixed' ;)

Thats all I took, what a day, if you get the chance go to the next one, I will :D
