Dunsfold 2009

Postby Iggie » Wed Sep 02, 2009 7:19 pm

Just a few from Sunday.....As ever, the weather conspired against getting decent shots, but it was nice to see some different aircraft, and the car runs between the flying sessions gave me time for a snooze.......like Kemble really only noisier!
Highlights of the show: 558 (of course......), Mitchell, Hurricane from Hanger 11, Spit & P51 from OFMC, and the best Typhoon display I've seen this year (Burner on for nearly the whole display!!).
Lowlight of the day: Exiting the car park......despite nice words in the brochure about the marshalling being improved for both entry & exiting, no marshalls in sight come half five, so mayhem ensued. However, it's one of those things!
(Editing for spilling....)

Oh that old excuse!

TSR-2 simply got the first 3 right. ”

Good shots, thanks Iggie. The lack of marshalling is one reason I will never go to Farnborough again.
