TSR1 ?

Postby Spitfire » Wed Aug 12, 2009 12:51 pm

I got to thinking - like you do - was there a TSR1 ?? If not why TSR 2

And whilst looking I found this .....

Crappy landing or what at the beginning - those main wheels look a bit 'wobbly' to say the least :D :p He tested them well though =))

ok, the canbera's future was deemed uncertain due to the ruskis developing a jet that out performed it, so the government decided to ask the airplane industry to come up with a plane with a spec. that was not yet availible, the blackburn buckaneer was produced as a low level Tactical Strike and Reconnaissance aircraft which was deemed too slow to meet the spec mentioned above so the newly formed BAC came up with a Tactical Strike and Reconnaissance Mach 2 aircraft vola TSR2
thankyou very much, im here all week, try the veal ;) :ymapplause: :ymapplause:

And isn't that the fun of it all - rambling topics are brilliant :D

I've belonged to forums where you have to preface anything remotely off topic with a large OT and then apologise or you get your knuckles rapped :((

MUCH prefer it here - life's FAR TOO short ......... sugar input needed .......
