Red Arrows and Patrouille De France Flypast over Dover

As part of the celebrations when a certain French citizen flew over the Channel in a flimsy aircraft, Dover is playing host to some events this weekend on the seafront and in the grounds of the Duke of York Military School, and a few aircraft have flown across the channel and landed in the grounds of the school for the weekend.

Part of the celebration earlier this evening was a flypast by the Red Arrows followed by the Patrouille De France and what a site it was these 2 display teams heading towards the White Cliffs from the Channel...here is a selection of photos taken this evening with my new toy, a Pentax K-7

Prior to these flying over there was a microlight in the vicinity above the school and I seriously thought that the Reds would abort the flypast as it was hanging around for a while and didn't seem to be in a rush to go, after the flypast it flew back in the direction of the Channel...
