Biggin Hill 28th June 09

Postby RobCM17 » Thu Jul 16, 2009 2:16 pm

I know I don't post on here very often :) but I've had the chance to go to a few airshows this year and one of them was the Air Fair at Biggin Hill in June, the first time I've been there for a number of years. Here is a SMALL selection of photos, I managed to go to Waddo and Flying Legends as well so at some point I'll post some of them on here...oh and Le Bourget. If anyone's thinking of doing that in the future my advice is don't bother and if you're taking a camera for the flying display you'll need at least a 400mm lens as for some reason all the aircraft fly so far away :(( . I had with me a 300mm prime lens and I managed some half decent shots of the big stuff.

Anyway back to Biggin and the first one shows just how hot it was so early in the day...

For the photographers amongst you these were shot in the DNG RAW format and converted to JPEG and taken using a Pentax K20D and using a 60-250mm lens and a 300mm prime lens.

I hope you all enjoy this collection and thanks for looking,

Rob

Yes we're going on Saturday with Nickolas and family. I've also got a mach 1 membership for both days, we had one last year...and we all know what happened don't we? :(( It got me a free entry to Farnborough though so can't complain too much :)

Thanks for the comments Wedgy, got a load more here so will have to convert them to JPEG and post some more at some point if anyone's interested :)
