I have a QUESTION! Or THREE......

We all know that the Vulcan is/was stealthy by
happy accident. The question(s) is/are: When
and how was this discovered? Was any research
done to determine WHY this was the case? Was
any effort made to apply whatever was learned
about Vulcan's semi-invisibility?

Anybody?

The stealthy aspects of a Vulcan only work effectively if you are deaf (can't hear the damn thing I SAID YOU CAN'T HEARD THE DAMN THING) and you are blind (so you can't follow the smoke trails to their origin)...........
Apart from that it's got great capability. =)) =)) =)) =)) =))
