The Weird lolipop is in fact a weather vane.

well there I was just dozing off when 2 typhoons decided to do 3 circuits of our house tail chasing each other - the LOUDEST racket I have heard in a long while........

but of course by the time I got my camera & got outside, they had bu&&ered off :((
