Was Mayfly there in her capacity as an Armourer, so she could replace the safety pins after SM had been hanging in the bomb bay? I bet he got a shock when he hit the concrete at Wellsbourne. Who told him he was going to Port Stanley?

Even with 301's the aircraft was only rated for 21,000lbs bomb bay load!! =))

For those of us not 'In the know' as it were - what is the significance of this??

I see one plane in the distance - and another plane nearer - and then a red car appears and SM gets out rather sheepishly.

Please explain to the uninitiated :p :D

Edit - I think I now see 558 in the very distance - but still need said explanation ;)

2nd Edit - Is it actually 655 and this is Wellsbourne ;) Still unsure what's going on :p

Oh yes - you definitely owe a full illustrated description of every second to those of us stuck in the outposts of the land and not lucky enough to be there in person. :p :D

Including HOW it came about - and WHY ;) :))
