some pictures i took on my last visit the lanc was away though photobucket is playing up bu i will post more when i can they have a nice b29 mitchell being restored at the mo
i had a good look through their website when they posted the appeal for new prop blades for their Lanc - they have some fascinating aircraft in their collection
i have some old shots of the lanc from last year i took with my phone it was being serviced at the time and looked fantastic so many planes that you just cant get a good shot of the big ones as the hanger is so full i have to add the work they do there is really good quality the restorations are fantastic to see
We had one of the Canadian Lanc pilots stay with us a number of years ago, [DT was still with BBMF & he left 7 years ago] The whole point was to work out the logistics of getting her over here.
The will is there but lack of money is the main obstacle. Would love to 2 lanc together

Very fond memories of Robbie Gilvary - DTs 1st Vulcan Captain who taught DT all he knew.
obviously 474 goes to Europe, but would a tarns-pond journey ever be contemplated by BBMF d'you think Mayfly? it would be fab to see both Lancs together, whichever side of the pond
I'm certain that if we had TWO flying Lancs over here, the Canadians might be even more tempted to come and be part of a unique three-ship flight
anything is possible SM but I would very much doubt it, & with out making them sound like a commercial enterprise I would think there would need to be some thing very lucrative in it for them. Even now they are very protect over the total number of hours she flys per year & very rarely will stretch the number she is allocated.
