JAL Boeing 747 engine sucks up cargo container

This is unbelievable! A Japan Airlines (JAL) Boeing 747 passenger aircraft was grounded at Los Angeles International Airport yesterday after a large object, believed to be a cargo container, was sucked into one of its engines.

The incident happened as JAL flight 62 was leaving one of the airport's gates. All 245 passengers on board were taken off the plane and escorted to the terminal. No injuries were reported.

brilliant Mackrick - i saw this on the news earlier, but have been to busy uploading stuff to go looking for the clip! :p

I'm surprised it doesn't happen more often actually. i never saw that before, but i did see a Servisair tug squish one against a wall once =))
