Edit it was on this morning until around 9am so has been pulled apparently for a misunderstanding whatever it is won't help the cause all it will do is stir up more unrest in the Club

I don't think XM did himself any favours by doing this. He knows the score with them and USED to provide web hosting at cost (according to various posts by Rusty). The souring of relationships seems to have changed this arrangement. There are ways and means of sorting these things out before it gets to this stage. Three months isn't that much (in the real world) and I doubt the bill amounted to a great deal, so this wasn't a case of them needing the cash and being forced into doing this.

That said, the root cause of this lies deep within the VTST.

I'm surprised there wasn't an agreement for ISSL to promote their business on the TVOC site in lieu of charging. They have quite a respectable portfolio.

Knowing how much bandwidth that place must take up (based on 37 members here), I can imagine the cost only runs into low 3 figures a month.

Can't remember what one it was but it was similar to the 404 page not found one. To have a message saying contact the accounts dept, in my view, is quite unprofessional.

That page was hand-made in Visual Studio 6 (I checked the source). I agree, quite unprofessional. Paul also runs his own servers, so it's not marked up by another provider.

Absolutely no need for that. We must remember though that there are 2 sides to every story. This runs much deeper than you realise. Its nowhere near as simple as what's been posted.
