I am sick to death of hearing how clean the Vulcan is - it must have been sprayed and polished to death
Every time I go on Facebook there's somebody else cleaning or spit polishing the Vulcan
I don't give a monkeys ... honest I don't ....

This is because it has to make do with four Olympus 201s which barely produce enough thrust to nudge the Vulcan into the air - so they have to make every effort to ensure that the aeroplane will be able to fly (just).
Now, if only they had Olympus 301s, they wouldn't have to worry about making the airframe slippery....![]()

After all the polishing that has been done, XH558 is now so shiny it could probably even manage with Conways.
