The arrivals have started....

Jordanians arrived yesterday and Turkish F16s today.

Anyone from here going? MR are supporting 558?

For those interested 558 will according to Silent Flight on UKAR and he should know as he's part of the Display co-ord team arrive at Waddington on Friday.

I'm going tomorrow and Saturday. Excited just a little looking forward to 558 and Sweedish arriving Friday. Should be a good day as Belgians & Dutch F-16 not arrived yet.

According to post on FC that quotes a Waddington press release anyone wishing to attend should look at getting tickets today from the advanced ticket outlets as they can't guarantee there will be any left for gate sales.

Saw 558 praticing her display over Scampton, but was disappointed that she just did 1 circuit and landed at Waddington, I would have thought that she should have done seeing as though that is where crowds of people paid money to see it happen :(( :-o X(

Questions were asked on the VTTS site, but the answer that came back was that there was not enough time for her to do one, which I find very hard to believe/comprehend/understand.......... [-x

Friday is arrivals day. Unless they have absolutely no choice because a practice is required before they can display in public or they need to verify a display, you don't get displays on arrivals day. They are generally too busy to accommodate them.

I beg to differ Pam, but two years ago 558 did a display before she landed on the Thursday arrivals day, but if they need to verify a display before they then why not do it over Waddington and not Scampton, she did do one there as we could see and hear her in the distance. :(
