They saw something about it, was it in the last newslette? - no doubt another long debate coming up on some fora.

Only 24,315 left to raise, as of yesterday evening, so hope its news about the mod to the wing, engine life, etc ?? Fingers firmly crossed ...
But yes, no doubt about it, the arguments about whatever it is will start all over again !

W O O H O O !!!!!!!!
Editing to add, its just been announced by VTTS, she ll be flying another 2 years !!!
They are planning to do the mods this winter, so money permitting 558 will delight all a bit longer :D

Talks about wing mods and winter servicing, but no mention of progress on the engine limitations. :-?

I assume it won't be a full display, just a fly through? Anyway, I'm still looking forward to it :D .

That's interesting Helen - because there is nothing on VTST site and they keep saying if it's not on there it's not official. I asked about it ion Wednesday and haven't had a answer, it doesn't give much notice for people to make any plans to go see her.

I was waiting till the official site said it too, but Wickenby is adamant she's paying a visit. Like I said I'm going anyway, but I know several people who are now only going because 558 is and will probably be a tad miffed if 558 doesn't go.

I still think it'll just be a fly past after take off from Doncaster but that's just my theory.

I'm not so sure, she did a practice there 2 weeks ago!!!!

I know some who would be going IF 558 is going to be there, It's leaving it a bit late for an announcement by the TVST.
