Yes, Dave changed it from the early bank holiday in the hope of better weather, but, he didn't realise he'd put us in competition with Duxford.

Nevermind

Weather was ok last year. Really disappointed we can't go this year as we're on holiday. Would definately prefer early May in future. It'll be interesting to compare numbers attending.

Going earlier this year then. We have got a couple of first time runners, this time. Gotta squeeze them in somewhere I guess.

I'm HEARING both Lightnings are running. I know they're, at least, close, with 728

Both lightnings are servicable but only one will be running. The Buccaneers are running at approximately 14:00. May as well go home after that :D

Just brilliant !
The weather was spectacular, t shirts all roiund, that was a surprise !
And as for the aircraft, just awesome ! Loved the way the crowd surged towards the Victor as it taxied back after its fast run, with a proper photocall as the crew disembarked.. The Lightning was wonderfully loud, everything shook !
Well done, Brunty !! Great day :D

Another great day at Brunty, I have been going there for about 4 years now & not seen so many people there as on Sunday, so hopefully it was a good day for the coffers.
I don't just go for the aircraft & atmosphere but for the two chaps doing the commentary aswell, classic.
