Good old DM - there's nothing there that hasn't been said on the BBMF website about them closing some roads or requesting that the public view from Chatsworth.

The roads they are talking about are tiny, and genuinely couldn't cope with a major influx of vehicles. Best bet if you want to be close would be to park (early) in one of the A57 laybys near the Ladybower Reservoir bridge, and walk in.

To get a decent view, you really need to be up on one of the moors overlooking Derwent Dam. From the road in the bottom of the valley the view will be very brief.

We've got 2 nights booked hoping to see it and will reccy on Wednesday - I'm hoping to get up a bit as I want pics with the Dam in it.
