An interesting read!
"All modern aircraft have 4 dimensions: span, length, height and politics.
TSR-2 simply got the first 3 right. ”

:-o mad...... Hopefully only teething problems though. It was similar with Tornado in the early days not being able to fly near radio transmitters.

UK Gov should have pushed for the GE/RR F136 option to be kept running.

The Government Got a good deal on the Harriers. They won't have to pay the many millions in disposing of them, instead they Americans have paid us for then then have the problem a d cost of getting rid.

One Olympus 301 has twice the power of a complete F1 starting grid.
XM655 has four of them, all serviceable.

they have redesigning the engine after the problem in the compressor, in addition to the informatic bug, the impossibility fo the F-35C to landing in a aircraft carrier , cracks in the body, wing, compressor..., lead and risk of explosion of the tank, bad visibility (for a vtol it's a problem), high consuption, problem of gun integration ( for the futur A10 is bad).......
