IA is loved for the light hearted banter and free and easy chat. The 'Anything Else' area is at the heart of the forums.

But lets, for the month of March make a concerted effort to 'do as it says on the tin' and talk a little more about aviation .

I've tried a couple of threads - one of the ones you quoted was mine - but see how short it is. When you've said 'This is a nice Bristol Britannia - and everyone agrees - 'yes that is a nice Bristol Britannia' you sort of - come to a halt.

In fact, the "Forum Ranks Revisited" thread shows people are passionate about certain aircraft and not others. Start a thread stating why, its history, why its special etc.
Just take the Mustang .... the uproar about it not being included in the ranks

In fact, I REFUSE to add it to the ranks until someone starts a thread about it
