P40 at Wellesbourne Wings and Wheels MORE added

Postby Xplumberlives » Mon Jun 18, 2012 11:07 am

We arrived at Wellesbourne and I was told by Charles (RHV) that it was unlikely that Peter Teichman would be calling in as he was already at RAF Cosford for their airshow. I sent Peter a text requesting he grace Wings and Wheels with a flypast if at all possible. He replied that he’d try at 16:30. Later he let me know he’d call in for a coffee in his P40!

The aircraft is wearing a washable paint scheme following her appearance in the recently released RED TAILS, the filming was carried out in the Czech Republic.

Did you spot a beaming Cluny in the background?

One advantage of knowing someone who owns historic aircraft is being able to get your eldest son in to the cockpit.
