Pulsejets anyone?

Postby Whiteshoreservices » Thu Dec 22, 2011 12:13 pm

I've been messing about building Pulsejets for a while now. Anybody else ever tried? All mine have been valveless 'chinese' style varying in size from a jam jar to the five footer i'm building now. But i really would like to build a valved pulsejet, based on the Argus engine which powered the V1 flying bomb. Check out this site for some inspiration:

This guys been building them for a while now and seems to be able to support himself on it aswell. Respect due, i feel. Certainly look very professionally built.

Saw one built at RAF Cottesmore to power a Go cart many years ago!

About the same time as I was experimenting with a hairspray powered potato cannon! ;)
