Anyone interested in HAL aircraft?

Postby Whiteshoreservices » Tue Dec 20, 2011 5:10 pm

Im working in Bangalore this month, and i've taken a day off to go to the HAL museum tomorrow. I'll try and post some Marut/Kiran/Sitara etc pics here tomorrow. Im hoping they will have some Vamps as they made them here under licence and maybe a Hunter too. There may be some knocking around, apparently they bought a couple hundred in the 50's.
As payment i have to take the wife to a mall afterwards, so i'm also open to requests for dodgy Rolex's...

Very fond memories of Robbie Gilvary - DTs 1st Vulcan Captain who taught DT all he knew.

Jake - a few shots of the Canberra would be nice.

Also ask HAL if they have any spare drop tanks as they make them there. :))

MOD, i'll try and get a drop tank in the hand luggage! I'll get some good shots then come back and spend the rest of the day wrestling with the computer trying to shrink the pictures and upload and blah blah blah. Some things spanners cant fix...

Some interesting shots there! :ymapplause:

TSR-2 simply got the first 3 right. ”
