VC10 XV102 retires to Brunty.

Postby T-Bag » Mon Dec 12, 2011 4:04 pm

XV102 arrived at Bruntingthorpe today, I've alot of shots but a lot of dirt on the sensor too it seems, i've cleaned a few up to post.

We got 2 fly throughs and a very short landing roll out and a burst rear main wheel, you can see the fire crew checking it out after it was shut down,

XV107 was also due but went tech

anyhoo........

Sooty

One Olympus 301 has twice the power of a complete F1 starting grid.
XM655 has four of them, all serviceable.

107 was delivered to Bruntingthorpe today. I am led to believe that xv101 is due to make her last flight on 20th december, so there will be 4 10's there (assuming xv105 won't have been totally reduced to spares by then!)
