I understand the above hunter flew again today for the first time a few years, having undergone refurbishment since the beginning of the year.

They are hoping she will get some bookings next year - the more hunters the better!!!

On a side note - 601 at Waddington has been there since the airshow with what I believe is an engine problem, she did engines runs this morning then got half way down the runway this afternoon, then aborted the t/o but I don't believe it was connected to the engine. :( Not having a lot of luck the poor gal isn't.

I couldn't agree more regarding the amount of hunters :D

Seems ages since 601 had her problem :( . I'm sure it won't be long before she is in the air again.

Is '573 still down at Exeter? Think that's where I last heard of her.

Any news on '601? Still on the early arrivals for Waddo 2012 list?

Thanks,

I assume back home to the west country - believed to have been seen over Brize and heading toward Swindon around lunch time.

Has she been sold Cluny? - I knew she was going and is working for the French Mil, I hoped it was to earn some dosh after being grounded throughout the summer at Waddington.

There is also a lot of speculation about Team Viper and whether there will be one next year. Popular opinion is they won't be flying Hunters.

So do you have sufficient funds for your own Hunter? :-o

Cluny looks like you were unfortunately right a poster on UKAR has stated until yesterday he was the owner and pilot of 601 :( so it appears she has gone :((
