From the Vulcan website:
'1655 - Land at Robin Hood Airport, Doncaster
1700 - 'Hot' change of crew
1705 - Take off for crew currency flight - circuits
1715 - Landing and return to parking'

Yippee - I'll be at Doncaster for the day then! :D

If anyone is going, be aware of the parking restrictions when the aircraft is taking off. They are very strict with it, nothing is allowed to park under the flightpath.

Regards

Jim.

Hope the event goes well, and lots of money is raised for the project.
Hope the XM655 event goes well, and that they get a good flypast by XH558.
XH558 briefly seen on TV whilst over flying Silverstone. BTCC is on ITV4.

If she wasn't allowed to fly over the town, what was the point in wasting the money on the fuel, and wear & tear on the aircraft :(. So there will be NO chance of flying over London next year :( :(.

I expect they were paid an appearance fee
for that, so expenses were probably covered....

Also, wasn't today some sort of aircrew certification
thing?

So, is that "it" for her for the season??????

Can't Wait to see the NEW Ones!!!!!!!!!

Danf.

EDIT: I expect a flyover of London next year would
be an entirely different situation........

I guess it's just wait and see.......
