2012 Airshow Wishlist

Postby Olicat » Sun Oct 09, 2011 3:57 pm

Just for fun - make this as realistic/sensible as you want, but what Aircraft would you hope to see at any airshow in 2012?
Fly fast jets and/or C130s over my house please, I'm bored!

I'm guessing it COULD happen, but
it would be a last-minute thing.......

Testing program seems to be moving
right along, so overseas visits might
be made a part of all that.....

HOPE so, we'll see next summer!

I read somewhere (can't find it now of course) the new
owner was letting her stay in NZ for a year after tests
in gratitude.....

A DC-2, never seen one, would love to see one fly.

And for that matter, I've never seen a DC-6 either.

Agree with the B1 and mossie too.

Sorry, Mister Cat..........

If they were any good, then people who don't
HAVE to buy them would be all lined-up to GET
them......

It looks "neat" but that's about it.....

So far only orders from those who MUST
buy them!

A show of force from the USAF at Fairford. The static displays have been an absolute shambles compared to "back in the day"

I think a French Transall Role demo would be good, as would a Mirage display.

But then I would say that, I love Transalls and French aircraft!

When we spoke to Avspec last year they said they were looking to work her way over to the States, however as I reported last week Here they are still looking for bits, so perhaps the delay has caused a change of heart.
