A day at the Heath 15th Aug 2011

Postby Xplumberlives » Tue Aug 16, 2011 12:14 pm

Having viewed the weather forecast on Sunday night, it appeared that Monday would be a reasonable day to try and catch the A10s at Lakenheath before they returned to Germany.

The F15s were very active too.

I parked at the Forestry Commission gateway to be opposite the viewing area and have the light behind me! ;)

The light was constantly changing due to the clouds scudding past in the morning and then gradually building up to nearly constant cover by the evening!

By the end I wasn't bothering to get the camera out of the bag, due to the light and guess what, that was when the A10s started to play the go around game! Still got a few good shots and got home to bed much earlier than expected!
