Erm, not really sure where to put this so if it's in the wrong place you have my permission to move it :)

Sad day :(

After the Nimrod landed we went off to do some jobs and came back for the Thunderbirds, who some some reason decided to land with the wind rather than on 02 which was the r/w in use ~x( ~x( so of course we were at the wrong end, cue mad dash to the WAVE (20 end) for the last 2 landing.

well I am little the same Helen - but don't worry I'll probably merge and move to photo section in a week or two. I didn't see you at the WAVE. Shows how poor the weather was. Good vid
In memory of a very dear friend - Mike Pearson

Very fond memories of Robbie Gilvary - DTs 1st Vulcan Captain who taught DT all he knew.

We didn't stop long at the WAVE, too crowded for my liking =)) =))
So we went to the 02 end for her landing instead :D
Only bit filmed at the WAVE is the first flypast and the 2 TBirds landing at the end.

Love the vid, Helen......

Sad day for Nimrod, though......

What do the T-Birds have with them
for support aircraft?

Or were they bringing up the rear?

Danf.
I like to do my planning retroactively!

=)) =))
They brought 2 C-17s, although I didn't see either :))
One departed for Mildenhall just as we arrived about 3pm (heard it but didn't see a thing :-o that's how bad the cloud was), the other was meant to come in after they arrived but we didn't stick around to see if it came.

Thanks everyone :)

I'm feeling a little better, still a bit delicate though :)) Hoping to be 100% for Friday \:D/ :D
