I'll wager she's cleaner and shinier than when
she was in service!

And thanks, Matt, for that lovely Packard Merlin
Mustang!

Haven't watched Cluny's vid yet, but I'm sure
it's good for more than just a couple of views.....

Danf.

EDIT::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

Well, I just watched Cluny's vid, and I'm afraid I
don't have enough superlatives.

Thank you, Paul, and thank you to all the ones
who keep her so nice!

GOD! On that fast taxi, she WANTED to FLY!!!!!!!!!

Wait until I get the narratives added then it will begin to make sense....

I finally hit the sack at 2am this morning after getting up at 5.30am yesterday. It was a long hot day of doing very little on the Wellesbourne airfield. You know - these events just happen all by themselves.

There are so many photos of W&W on different threads, I don't know where to post my gratitude - so I'll do it here. Thanks everybody, it looked a great day and I'm sorry I had to work. I'm still not jealous; no sir...............not even a little bit.

Alas no, as I didn't at the time know who they were. It is only from seeing the shots on the Forum today that I recognise them. :(

Something I posted vexes thee Snapper?

That certainly wasn't my intention. The first I was surprised at the amount of birds on an airfield and the second I thought was a brilliant moment captured in time at could be read a thousand different ways and by the way I do know how much work and effort goes into a run day from all concerned and am very grateful :)
