Unknown Hunter

Postby MOD » Wed Jun 15, 2011 7:05 pm

I have just come across an old slide of a (then) recently scrapped Hunter. The trouble is I have no idea where I took this shot nor what the identity of this aircraft is/was. It is an old Kodachrome card mounted slide and the date has faded away.

Any ideas? I really should have got around to cataloguing these slides decades ago. :(

It could be a T8 :p

It isn't listed here (unless i've missed it): http://www.thunder-and-lightnings.co.uk/hunter/survivors.php

EDIT Just found out that it is XL618 a Hunter T7 - At Cottesmore and I missed it because it is now in a museum ;)

In memory of a very dear friend - Mike Pearson

Very fond memories of Robbie Gilvary - DTs 1st Vulcan Captain who taught DT all he knew.
