Thanks everyone! That's the conclusion I came to when I was setting it up. I'm glad there seems to be consistent agreement. Hopefully I'll get some more done on it this weekend :)

When I get home tomorrow and have had some sleep I will name the RIVOLTA and may post some details, alternatively someone might just steal it from under my nose! :D

Here's a small update. The Zimmerit on the tank took a while :(

Now for some gravel, grass, camo paint on the tank, more trees...

Thanks! Does anyone know how much variance there was in the rocket launches? As far as I know, the two rockets would be launched at the same time but I assume that there is some varying degree of how fast the motors would ignite to full burn. I'm not sure if I should show them closer together or not. Any ideas?

Len

There is a load of footage on YouTube, and they all seem to show rockets fired in true pairs with very little GAP between them!

Ya, I've been looking at some of that. One clip I was looking at seemed to show a fair gap but I think there actually wasn't because the camera was on an angle. Looking at more footage there doesn't seem to be much.

Len I will have a look through some of the books at home, my Father was with the 2nd Tactical Air Force and worked alongside Typhoons amongst others!

I just talked to one of the pilots and he said that the rockets did fire almost exactly at the same time. You could fire 2 or all. So I guess that question has been answered.

A little poetic license here.........

I think the two rockets being one
behind the other is more compelling
than having them right together......

I don't remember there being TWO in
the first one you showed us, but the
one in front of the other is better, IMHO........
