INDEED it isn't, I do hope they don't come to regret their decision! :-o

If they are expecting any financial concessions from the outfit who own the place, they will certainly regret it.

XM655 has four of them, all serviceable.

Personally I doubt there was a lot of options - most either don't have a long enough runway or they aren't open for flying at weekends or don't have the correct crash cover- with Lyneham and Brize not having room to accommodate her I can't really think of many other places she could go.

Scampton would have been my only option as they would have the cover at weekends during the show season.

Agreed, wonder where the next place will be when they have out stayed their financial welcome.

Ooo I am a meanie, I'm sorry but I can't help but smile....

Whilst 558 was down South the attitude from many was get down here to see her and stop winging - She's only been at Finningley 24 hrs and they are already stating how far it is to travel and she's not even Ooop North!! :-o :p

Sorry not meant to be mean spirited but I find it amusing!!

Putting words in mouth XP, I didn't say they were 'winging' I said they 'stated' - just various comments from different fora.

I wonder if the "new home" discussions took account of the Yorkshireman's famous financial carefulness. :-?

Next VTTST new/begging letter will probably be surprised to report donations have plummetted. :p
