I'd say about 20 mins in. Certainly past the half way point.
Grumpy old man in training!

Yup, If you look at Waddington on Google Earth top of the screen you can see 4 AWACS - just to the right of there you can see a square grassed area with access off the A15.

It says it opens at 8 but I got there at 7.40 last year and was parked 3 rows back!!

The RAF Falcons reckon they're going too =))

I think under the circumstances it's not a bad line up, considering.

I quite agree that the list is reasonable considering the economic situation and the commitments being met by various of the air forces that have been invited, BUT I disagree that the flying line up looks GOOD!

I'll be there for the nostalgia bit. I was at Waddington from 1996 to 2000 and spent my time organising the 'Station Commander's Enclosure' (note apostrophe, could never get workshops to put it on the sign). Have decided to do the show in style as you would expect of an old Vulcan and Canberra pilot and will be in one of the enclosures to get the best view while being fed and watered. :D Glad the old lady will be there, my wife has never seen her take off so is really looking forward to that. :)
